Race #1 - Goody's 300
The NASCAR Busch Grand National Series made their 1st stop of the 1985 season in Daytona Beach, Florida, the site of the Daytona International Speedway for the Goody's 300.

Race #2 - Komfort Koach 200
The NASCAR Busch Grand National Series made their 2nd stop of the 1985 season in Rockingham, North Carolina, the site of the North Carolina Motor Speedway for the Komfort Koach 200.
Larry Pearson led the field to the Green Flag but it would be Geoffrey Bodine who would lead the first lap as the fans in attendance were given a great show as Bodine would have a race long battle with Dale Earnhardt and Dale Jarrett before Bodine pulled away late before the unthinkable happened; Bodine's car suffered a broken piston, handing the lead over to Joe Ruttman. Ruttman would lead for a bit before Earnhardt took the lead back with twenty one laps to go. Having won this race in 1983 and choosing to miss this event one year prior, Earnhardt was able to keep Ruttman behind him for the remaining laps to score his fourth win of his busch career and his first of 1985.

Race #3 - Mountain Dew 400
The NASCAR Busch Grand National Series made their 3rd stop of the 1985 season in Hickory, North Carolina, the site of the Hickory Motor Speedway for the Mountain Dew 400.
Tommy Houston led the field to the Green Flag and would quickly began to show his past experience as he began to lap drivers as early as Lap 20 before Jimmy Hensley would pass Houston in lap traffic before the first caution came out. Points leader L.D. Ottinger would take the lead during pit stops before he was passed by Jack Ingram, who would lead until late in the race when Dale Jarrett took the lead during the final pit stops. Jarrett would get a great jump on the final restart and would build up a huge lead on his way to his first win of 1985.

Race #4 - Budweiser 200
The NASCAR Busch Grand National Series made their 4th stop of the 1985 season in Bristol, Tennessee, the site of the Bristol International Speedway for the Budweiser 200.
Tommy Houston led the field to the Green Flag for the second race in a row as drivers raced on the half mile track in Bristol as big wrecks would be a common thing as it also decided who would win. Bosco Lowe would take the lead early and would dominate much of the early half of the race, losing the lead only during cautions due to it stops, before gaining it back within a few laps. Around the halfway mark, Lowe gave up the lead again to Larry Pearson who lost it to the debuting Brett Bodine and then Ed Berrier before Darrell Waltrip took the lead.
Having started 18th, Waltrip had worked his way up slowly into the lead and once in the lead, Waltrip used his past experience at Bristol keeping Lowe behind him for the remaining 94 laps and hung on to score his first win in over a year and his first win of 1985.

The NASCAR Busch Grand National Series made their 5th stop of the 1985 season in Martinsville, Virginia, the site of the Martinsville Speedway for the Miller 200.
Ed Berrier led the field to the Green Flag as the short track provided the fans in attendance the usual sight at Martinsville as a rash of cautions and wrecks would happen for much of the day while up front the battle for the lead was intense during the first half of the race. Race #6 - Dixie Cup 200
The NASCAR Busch Grand National Series made their 6th stop of the 1985 season in Darlington, South Carolina, the site of the Darlington Raceway for the Dixie Cup 200.
Dale Earnhardt led the field to the Green Flag but it was points leader L.D. Ottinger who would lead the first laps of the day. Ottinger would swap the lead with Jack Ingram Jimmy Hensley and Merv Treichler during the early half of the race before Ingram and Treichler pulled away and swapped the lead themselves before Treichler was taken out in the lone caution of the day. During the caution, Ingram climbed out of the car to allow NASCAR Winston Cup Series star Harry Gant to take over for him. Gant would drop down to tenth in the running order while Brad Teague took over the lead.
It took Gant forty laps before he moved the #11 car back up to first as him and Teague would swap the lead three times before during the last round of pit stops, Gant pulled off a twelve second stop, while Teague's team struggle, taking eighteen seconds on his stop. Thanks to his crew giving him a great stop, Gant was on cruise control for the remaining forty five laps, lapping all but four cars and took the Checkered Flag, giving Ingram his tenth career win.

Race #7 - Busch 200
The NASCAR Busch Grand National Series made their 7th stop of the 1985 season in South Boston, Virginia, the site of the South Boston Speedway for the Busch 200.
Jimmy Hensley led the field to the Green Flag and would pick up right where Sam Ard had left off in 1984, quickly pulling away from the field, but hot on his tail was Tommy Houston, as both drivers would swap the lead five times before the first one hundred laps. Hensley would take the lead what appeared to be for the last time on Lap 115 as he built up a near five second lead, but late in the race his car began to fade, allowing for both Bosco Lowe and points leader L.D. Ottinger to drive past him and battled for the lead, with Lowe taking the lead with ten laps to go and would hold off Ottinger to score the win.
