It was a clear day in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada as the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series entered Round 1 of the 2008 season at the Cayuga International Speedway for the Crown Jewel 200.
Jason White led the field to the Green Flag as the second season of the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series began for the second season in a row at Cayuga. White would lead for the first seventeen laps before Peter Gibbons took over the lead as he pulled away from much of the field, while at the same time, Kerry Micks, had moved up from his seventeenth starting spot and into the Top 5 by lap 70, and just eleven laps later, Micks took the lead and he began to leave the field behind him, and aside from losing the lead briefly during the lone round of pit stops, Micks went on uncontested to score the win.

Race #2 - Dickies 200 Presented by Lucas Oil
It was a cloudy day in Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada as the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series entered Round 2 of the 2008 season at the Mosport International Raceway for the Dickies 200 Presented by Lucas Oil.
Scott Steckly led the field to the Green Flag but it was Don Thomson Jr. who would lead the first laps as a threatening sky kept all drivers on the watch of the weather to see when they had to switch to rain tires. Andrew Ranger would take the lead and have a great race long battle with Scott Steckly as two late race cautions caused the race to be extended two laps by way of NASCAR's Green, White, Checkered rule. Just before they were about to, the clouds opened up and rained on the track causing the clouds to darken and make the racing surface.
Steckly would get a slow restart while everyone of the drivers all had slick tires and drove slowly around the track searching for grip, but J.R. Fitzpatrick, who restarted fourth, had moved his way up to second by the time Steckly got back to Turn 10 and took the white flag as Fitzpatrick pulled to the inside in Turn 1, having much better grip due to his rain tires his crew had applied back on Lap 30. Fitzpatrick was able to pull away from a struggling Steckly over the final lap and scored the win, leading only the final lap for his second career win.

Race #3 - A&W 300
It was a clear day in Barrie, Ontario, Canada as the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series entered Round 3 of the 2008 season at the Barrie Speedway for the A&W 300.
J.R. Fitzpatrick led the field to the Green Flag and would jump out to an early lead as a relative calm race, with only two cautions, would allow the fans in attendance a great showing in the form of side-by-side racing. Fitzpatrick would lose the lead early to D.J. Kennington, who would go on to dominate the race, leading 219 of the 300 laps, but two late cautions would allow Scott Steckly to not only cut into his ten second lead, but he was able to take the lead with fifty laps to go, and would pull away in the last few laps to score his second career win.

Race #4 - National Kodak 250
It was a clear night in St. Eustache, Quebec, Canada as the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series entered Round 4 of the 2008 season at the Autodrome St. Eustache for the National Kodak 250.
Brad Graham led the field to the Green Flag but it was points leader Scott Steckly who would lead the first lap before Graham would retake the lead back one lap later as Grahm would keep Steckly behind him till Lap 17 when Steckly retook the lead, only to lose it back two laps later when Graham took the lead back. Graham would keep the lead another eight laps before he was passed by J.R. Fitzpatrick, who began to put distance between himself and his challengers. With no cautions coming out in the first half of the race, Kerry Micks had worked his way from his 5th starting spot and on Lap 110, Micks took the lead, and despite a caution shortly there after and Steckly trying to retake the lead, Micks would never be passed and would score his second win of 2008.

Race #5 - A&W Crusin' The Dub 300
It was a cloudy day in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada as the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series entered Round 5 of the 2008 season at the Sun Valley Speedway for the A&W Crusin' The Dub 300.
Jason White led the field to the Green Flag but it was D.J. Kennington who would lead the first three laps before White took the lead back as a cloudy day allowed for for cool track conditions allowing the drivers to have a great battle. The lead would swap hands five times before the first hundred laps as John Gaunt would lead for much of the event, 161 of the 300 laps, but found himself trailing behind several drivers after a rash of several late cautions, until he finally took it back before the sixth and final one. Back out in the lead, Gaunt pulled away for the remaining thirty four laps and would easily hold off Brad Graham for his first career win.

Race #6 - Edmonton Canadian Tire Series 100
It was a cloudy day in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada as the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series entered Round 6 of the 2008 season at the Edmonton City Centre Airport for the Edmonton Canadian Tire Series 100.
Mark Dilley led the field to the Green Flag and quickly began to build up a lead as for the second year in a row, the pole sitter dominated the event and Dilley appeared to be heading for yet another win, but hot on his trail was J.R. Fitzpatrick, who had won the last road course at Mosport, and using that past experience, Fitzpatrick waited to make his move when Dilley had used up all his equipment to keep the field behind him, as Fitzpatrick made his move with eleven laps to go, and would build up a lead of nearly five seconds and scored his second win of 2008.

Race #7 - NAPA 100
It was a cloudy day in Montreal, Quebec, Canada as the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series entered Round 7 of the 2008 season at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve for the NAPA 100.
Brad Graham led the field to the Green Flag but it was Andrew Ranger, who would take the lead in Turn 4, would lead the first laps around the two mile road course, but moving up through the field was Peter Gibbons, who took the lead on Lap 7 and quickly began to build up a big lead and appeared on his way to victory lane, but a caution with a few laps to go set up a Green, White, Checkered. Gibbons would lose the lead shortly after the start to Kerry Micks, who had to hold off a hard charging Andrew Ranger in the final two laps to score the win.
Other Noticeables: Kerry Micks scored his 3rd win of the season, Micks led 1 time for 2 laps, which were the final 2 laps, It was the 5th win of his career in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series and his first since Autodrome St. Eustache; 3 races ago, Didier Schraenen(28th) and Ashley Taws(30th) made their NASCAR Canadian Tire Series debuts, Scott Steckly, who finished 3rd, kept his points lead, leading Kerry Micks by 53 points
