Race #8 - GP3R 100It was a clear day in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, Canada as the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series entered Round 8 of the 2010 season at the Circuit de Trois-Rivieres for the GP3R 100. Andrew Ranger led the field to the Green Flag but it was J.R. Fitzpatrick who would get a good run coming out of Porte Duplessis and would pass Ranger for the lead and would lead the first lap around the twisting 1.530 mile street course. The fans in attendance were given a great showing by two of the best road course drivers in the series, as Fitzpatrick, who was running for points, fought hard for every single lap, while Ranger, who was looking for his second win in a row at Trois-Rivieres, fought hard to get around Fitzpatrick, but could never get the run off the turns and followed Fitzpatrick for the entire race but ran out of time as Fitzpatrick would score his second win of 2010.
