Mike Skinner led the field to the green but it would be Joe Ruttman leading the first lap as Butch Miller would dominate the day leading 132 of the 200 laps but only for Joe Ruttman to have a better pitstop and pull away from Miller to score the win at Louisville.

Terry Labonte led the field to the green as a caution filled race would allow Terry Labonte to dominate the day leading nearly all the laps, but Geoffrey Bodine got around Labonte on the last caution and won at Richmond.
