Race #8 - Pennzoil Discount Center 200
The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series made their eighth stop of 1997 at the New Hampshire International Speedway, in Loudon, New Hampshire, for the Pennzoil Discount Center 200.
Rick Carelli led the field to the green flag and would lead for the first 15 circuits before losing the lead after pitting and handing the lead over to Boris Said. Unlike the week before at I-70, mechanical issues would plague the race as a total of nine drivers would retire due to problems with their trucks, while only two would drop out due to racing accidents. Boris Said was the dominate driver of the day, leading almost half of the event but as the laps counted down the familiar green painted truck of Jack Sprague was picking up spots and would easily pass Said on the inside as Sprague would then pull away and score the win, becoming the first two time winner in 1997.

Race #9 - Pronto Auto Parts 400K
The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series made their ninth stop of 1997 at the Texas Motor Speedway, in Fort Worth, Texas, for the inaugural Pronto Auto Parts 400K.
Dave Rezendes led the field to the green flag but it was Kenny Irwin Jr. who would lead the first 30 laps as cautions wouldn't be a major thing which was a surprise for the first ever event at the track. Rich Bickle suffered mechanical later in the event and his once big lead would shrink down to less then 50. The race would be highly contested as drivers for the most part showed each other space and respect while learning about the track would react to the cool day. Kenny Irwin Jr. would completely dominate the day, leading 84 of the 167 laps, however he was on a different fuel mileage then other drivers and was forced to pit with 6 laps to go allowing Chuck Bown to drive on uncontested to the win.

Race #10 - Loadhandler 200
The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series made their tenth stop of 1997 at the Bristol Motor Speedway, in Bristol, Tennessee, for the Loadhandler 200.
Jimmy Hensley led the field to the green flag and would lead the first 20 laps as Bristol turned out to be just what everyone expected: a wreckfest as 105 of the 200 laps was run behind the pace truck and drivers would be knocked out in countless wrecks. As drivers fought to survive, the battle for the lead was action packed all race with points leader Rich Bickle, Jay Sauter, Jimmy Hensley, Ron Hornaday Jr. and even Tammy Jo Kirk all led at one point keeping the crowd on their feet and cheering for the favorite driver but with fifty laps to go one of the most shocking moments of the race took place.
As Jay Sauter tried to pass Ron Hornaday Jr. for the lead, both trucks got hooked together and wrecked in Turn 3 starting a "big one" that would knocked out several drivers. Sauter escaped with not too much damage but Hornaday was heavily damaged and pissed off at Sauter as for the rest of the race Hornaday looked for any chance to payback Sauter but he wouldn't have a chance as Sauter would fight back, passing Kelly Denton with 29 laps to go and would go on to score his second win of 1997.

Race #11 - NAPA Autocare 200
The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series made their 11th stop of 1997 at the Nazareth Speedway, in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, for the NAPA Autocare 200.
Tony Raines led the field to the green flag but it would be Joe Ruttman who would lead the first 21 laps as it turned out to be a warm day which surprised a lot of drivers who was expecting it to be cloudy. Due to the warm weather, the track turned out to be very slick causing multiple spins and wrecks that would knock out drivers including points leader Rich Bickle. Ruttman would dominate much of the early half of the race but with the laps counting down with less then 100, Jack Sprague had worked his way past all the wrecks and found himself in the lead late and would score his third win of 1997.

Race #12 - Sears DieHard 200
The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series made their 12th stop of 1997 at the Milwaukee Mile, in West Allis, Wisconsin, for the Sears DieHard 200.
Chuck Bown led the field to the green flag but it would be Ron Hornaday Jr. who would lead the first lap before being passed by Jack Sprague who would quickly began to pull away from the field as he began lapping drivers early as only one caution would slow the race compared to the nine that happened one year earlier. Once the caution came out, drivers pitted as Hornaday would fight his way into the lead and he would then do the same as Sprague, pulling away from the field and would drive to his first win in almost two years.

Race #13 - Link-Belt Construction Equipment 225
The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series made their 13th stop of 1997 at the Louisville Motor Speedway, in Louisville, Kentucky, for the Link-Belt Construction Equipment 225.
Rich Bickle led the field to the green flag and would lead for the first 16 laps before being passed by Ron Hornaday Jr. who would quickly began to pull away from the field and looked to win two races in a row but his hopes was ended after being caught up in a early wreck. This allowed Jack Sprague and Rich Bickle to battle for the lead for the lead before Sprague would be caught up in a wreck, causing Sprague to lose up to 100 points in the championship battle. After Sprague was knocked out of the race, Mike Bliss took control and appeared on his way to victory but rookie driver Kevin Harvick, who had worked his way past all the wrecks, took the lead with less then thirty laps to go and pulled away to score the win.

The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series made their 14th stop of 1997 at the Colorado National Speedway, in Dacono, Colorado, for the Colorado 250 By Snap-On Tools.
Ron Hornaday Jr. led the field to the green flag and would lead for the first 62 laps as for the third and final time the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series raced at the Colorado National Speedway as 30 drivers were looking to make history and go down as the final winner of the track. Hornaday would quickly began to pull away from the field once the green came out and would lead until the first round of pitstops as Mike Bliss would lead briefly before Hornaday retook the lead. After retaking the lead, Hornaday would be unstoppable and would pull away and score his second win of 1997.

Race #15 - Lund Look 275K
The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series made their 15th stop of 1997 at the Heartland Park Topeka, in Topeka, Kansas, for the Lund Look 275K.
Stacy Compton led the field to the green flag but it would be Bobby Hamilton who would lead the first lap as Compton would wreck in Turn 11 and would be knocked out of the race after only the first lap. Hamilton, who had practice at a local airport to prepare for this race, would lead the first half of the race before rookie Tony Raines would pass him and began to pull away from the field as well. However Raines would hit the Turn 11 wall and would receive damage as Joe Ruttman would take advantage and would get back on the lead lap and then work himself after being a full minute behind Raines as on the last lap in the last turn, Ruttman would get around Raines and would score his second of 1997.
