Race #1 - Vortex Brake Pads 200
It was a sunny day in Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada as the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series entered the first round 1 at brand newly named Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.
J.R. Fitzpatrick led the field to the green flag and would lead the first two laps before 2011 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series Champion Scott Steckly would take over and began to start the season off strong. However while leading, Steckly would go off track and hit the wall ending his day. Seconds later J.R. Fitzpatrick, who had just taken the lead, was spun out by Peter Klutt, causing Klutt to get booed all around the track by fans.
After a late caution, Peter Klutt would lose the lead first to D.J. Kennington and then Andrew Ranger as Ranger would then be unchallenged for the rest of the day and scored the win.

Race #2 - ICAR Lucas Oil Grand Prix
It was a sunny day in Mirabel, Quebec, Canada as the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series entered Round 2 of the 2012 Canadian Tire Series at Circuit ICAR for the ICAR Lucas Oil Grand Prix.
Scott Steckly led the field to the green flag and would lead the first lap before he spun off the track allowing Larry Jackson to take the lead but he would lead briefly before he slid off the track as well. Much of the day drivers would fight for the lead with no one totally dominating as only one driver would retire due to mechanical issues.
Louis-Philippe Dumoulin, who was looking to win this race two years in a row, took the lead late and looked to be on his way to victory before he had to pit late, handing the lead over to D.J. Kennington who stretched his fuel and scored a fuel mileage win.

Race #3 - Clarington 200
It was a sunny day in Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada as the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series entered Round 3 of the 2012 Canadian Tire Series at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park Oval for the Clarington 200.
D.J. Kennington led the field to the green flag and would quickly began to pull himself away from the field and began to lap drivers by lap 20. Not a single caution flag would fly during the first 100 laps as drivers kept a cool head and worked their way around the 0.500 mile track and raced each other with respect, however mechanical problems would knock two drivers out before the halfway point. Once there was less then a 100 to go, drivers began to pick it up, racing more aggressive as a caution would finally come out on Lap 135. During the confusion of D.J. Kennington pitting after the line, J.R. Fitzpatrick would take advantage and dive on by to lead a lap, however he would give it up when he had to pit as well two laps later.
With D.J. Kennington back in the lead, and the despite two more cautions that allowed J.R. Fitzpatrick two more chances to run him down, Kennington would hold on and score his second win in a row.

Race #4 - EMCO 200
It was a clear day in Delaware, Ontario, Canada as the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series entered Round 4 of the 2012 Canadian Tire Series at Delaware Speedway for the EMCO 200.
D.J. Kennington led the field to the green flag and would quickly began to pull himself away from the field and led the first 31 laps before being passed by Peter Shepherd due to lap traffic. These two drivers would swap the lead four times throughout the day as cautions would only come out twice during the day, allowing drivers to race clean and with respect.
However once past halfway, it became clear D.J. Kennington would not be stopped, taking the lead back for the final time on Lap 127 and was never touched again, scoring his third win in a row in 2012.

Race #5 - A&W Cruisin' the Dub 300
It was a clear day in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada as the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series entered Round 5 of the 2012 Canadian Tire Series at Motoplex Speedway & Event Park for the A&W Cruisin' the Dub 300.
Ron Beauchamp Jr. led the field to the green flag and would quickly began to pull himself away from the field as he would lead through the first two cautions, before Engine failures would end his chance at a win. Jason Hathaway would then take the lead and surprise alot of people by leading for a good amount of time despite a quick duel with Scott Steckly before Engine problems would knock Hathaway out of the race as well.
With his two most powerful challengers gone, Steckly began lapping the field, however D.J. Kennington was getting into his groove, getting all three of his laps back and took the lead late and appeared to heading to victory lane for the fourth straight time in 2012.
However things went wrong as Kennington was forced to give up the lead due to a flat right front tire, allowing Steckly to retake the lead as he would not be challenged again as the 2011 Canadian Tire Series Champion would hold on for his first win of 2012.

Race #6 - Edmonton 100
It was a clear day in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada as the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series entered Round 6 of the 2012 Canadian Tire Series at Edmonton City Centre Airport for the Edmonton 100.
D.J. Kennington led the field to the green flag and would quickly began to pull himself away from the field as Kennington was looking for redemption from losing at Motoplex Speedway one week earlier as he was never challenged on the road course, a race that saw no lead changes, no wrecks, no DNF's and no cautions. Drivers gave each other plenty of room for passing and while the racing was dull up front, battles were all over the track as Scott Steckly would work his way up through the field and drive home to a Top 10 finish.
However upfront was a different story as D.J. Kennington would lead every single lap and score an easy win, winning four out of the last five races.

The field has finished qualifying for the 7th race of the season the Velocity Prairie Thunder at the Auto Clearing Motor Speedway.
J.R. Fitzpatrick won the pole, with a time of 17.751 seconds, beating Scott Steckly by 0.080 seconds.

Race #7 - Velocity Prairie Thunder
It was a cloudy day in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada as the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series entered Round 7 of the 2012 Canadian Tire Series at Auto Clearing Motor Speedway for the Velocity Prairie Thunder.
J.R. Fitzpatrick led the field to the green flag and would lead the first 22 laps as the tricky 0.333 mile short track proved to be quite a challenge for the 22 drivers who showed up. While big wrecks was avoided the entire day, small minor spins and collisions were a common thing over the course of the 250 lap event as Andrew Ranger, who came into this race second in points, found getting onto pitroad a struggle and collide with the water barrels and would finish last. The race for the lead turned out to be the main event as short runs would plague the race allowing for more then ten pitstops and drivers looked to find the right adjustment.
Points leader D.J. Kennington struggled all day but would finish solidly in 5th place while up front Nick Jewell was turning some heads leading for nearly 100 laps, however pole sitter J.R. Fitzpatrick would take advantage of a late caution and would pass Jewell with 8 laps to go and would score his first win of 2012.
