It was a clear day in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, Canada as the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series entered Round 8 of the 2012 Canadian Tire Series at Circuit de Trois-Rivieres for the JuliaWine.com 100.
J.R. Fitzpatrick led the field to the green flag for the second week in a row but this time it would be Scott Steckly who would quickly take the lead and would lead the first six laps as points leader D.J. Race #11 - Wilson Equipment 300
The NASCAR Canadian Tire Series made the 11th stop of the season in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Canada, the site of the Riverside Speedway for the Wilson Equipment 300.
Donald Chisholm led the field to the green flag and led for the first twenty laps as the tricky 0.333 mile track provided fans and drivers the second to last race of the 2012 season and offered drivers one more chance to try and catch points leader D.J. Kennington. Ron Beauchamp Jr. would track down Donald Chisholm and would take the lead on Lap 21 and would lead for nearly thirty laps before being passed by Chisholm not long before the two cautions came out for spins in Turn 1 and Turn 2. Once back under green, Donald Chisholm began to pull away and stretched his lead and looked on his way to scoring a stunning upset in only his 12th start.
However Ron Beauchamp Jr.'s crew had given him an adjustment during the second caution and he would reel in the lead taking it on Lap 123 and from then on he would never be touched, lapping everyone else to score an easy and dominating win. Coming across the line in second was championship points leader D.J. Kennington who has officially locked up the championship one race early as he has a 60 point lead over Andrew Ranger and since you can only receive a maximum amount of 48 points in a race, Kennington is officially your 2012 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series.

Race #12 - Pinty's 250 Presented by Dodge
The NASCAR Canadian Tire Series made the 12th and final stop of the season in Fraserville, Ontario, Canada, the site of the Kawartha Speedway for the Pinty's 250 Presented by Dodge.
Jeff Lapcevich led the field to the green flag and led for the first nine laps before being passed by Ron Beauchamp Jr. as drivers looked for the last chance to score a win in 2012 as the championship had already been wrapped up in the last race. The tricky 0.375 mile track turned out to be calmer then the 2011 event as drivers showed respect and honor to others as only three cautions would slow the event, meanwhile Mechanical would once again plague the event, knocking out five cars including the 2011 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series Champion Scott Steckly. Mark Dilley, who drove a part-time schedule in 2012, drove from the back of the pack and into the lead as he dominated the event leading 123 of the event's 250 laps but with less then twenty laps to go, Andrew Ranger got around Dilley for the lead.
With Ranger unable to win the championship, all Ranger could do was send a strong message for 2013 and he did just that, winning the last event in 2012.
