Because IROC has random drawings who will start where before each race, I'm going to do the same for this, so whoever starts 1st in the actual race will be placed there and so forth.
Here is how the field will line up for the first ever race in the new IROC Series at the Riverside International Raceway.

The brand new IROC Series made their 1st stop of 1974 at the Riverside International Raceway, in Riverside, California.
Mark Donohue led the field to the green flag as a field of twelve drivers made history by running the first ever International Race Of Champions(IROC) race at Riverside as Mark Donohue, who had drawn the pole position, wrote his name in the history books, leading the first ever lap. Donohue used his past experience on road courses and easily led the field around the twisting road course, keeping Peter Revson behind him all race long and led all thirty laps to become the first ever winner in the IROC Series.
Other Noticeables: Mark Donohue scored his 1st win of the year, Donohue led 1 time for 30 laps, including all 30 laps, It was the 1st win of his career in the IROC Series in his 1st start, All 12 drivers made their IROC Series debuts, Mark Donohue, who finished 1st, is the points leader, leading Peter Revson by 9 points

Race 2
The IROC Series made their 2nd stop of 1974 at the Riverside International Raceway, in Riverside, California.
Emerson Fittipaldi led the field to the green flag as just hours after having run the first race of the season, the twelve drivers went back out for the second race of the season. With the field inverted from the first race, points leader Mark Donohue was looking to win back-to-back races but struggled all race long to a 8th place finish. Up front Emerson Fittipaldi, who had finished last in the first race, took advantage of it and lead the early laps before being passed by both Peter Revson and David Pearson. Just like Mark Donohue had done mere hours before, Revson was able to hold off NASCAR star David Pearson for the remaining laps and scored the win.
Other Noticeables: Peter Revson scored his 1st win of the year, Revson led 1 time for 21 laps, including the final 21 laps, It was the 1st win of his career in the IROC Series in his 2nd start, Peter Revson, who finished 1st, is the new points leader, leading Mark Donohue by 10 points

Race 3
The IROC Series made their 3rd stop of 1974 at the Riverside International Raceway, in Riverside, California.
Peter Revson led the field to the green flag as for the third straight race, the IROC Series raced at Riverside and once again Mark Donohue would be the class of the field. Going into Turn 6 on lap one, points leader Peter Revson is spun out and the field slows, allowing Mark Donohue to pull away to nearly a twenty second lead before the lone caution of the day comes out. With the Green back out, once again Donohue pulled away from the rest of the field and scored his second win in three races

Race 4
The IROC Series made their 4th and final stop of 1974 at the Daytona International Speedway, in Daytona Beach, Florida.
Mark Donohue led the field to the green flag as for the first time in the history of the IROC Series raced on the Daytona Road Course as Donohue was looking to win back-to-back events and lock up his first IROC Championship. Donohue came into Daytona having led the most laps, the most wins and when he didn't win his worst finish was 8th and once again proved he was one of the best road course racers in the world, keeping the other five drivers behind him all race long and for the third time led every single lap and scored not only the win and leading 85 out of the 115 laps on the season but wrote his name in the history books by becoming the first ever IROC Series Champion.
Other Noticeables: Mark Donohue scored his 3rd win of the year, Donohue led 1 time for 25 laps, including all 25 laps, It was the 3rd win of his career in the IROC Series and his first since Riverside; 1 race ago, Mark Donohue, who finished 1st, is the first ever IROC Series Champion, beating Peter Revson by 25 points
