Andrew Ranger won the pole, with a time of 87.130 seconds, beating Robin Buck by 0.217 seconds.

Race #1 - Clarington 200
It was a cloudy day in Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada as the newly renamed NASCAR Pinty's Series entered Round 1 of the 2016 season at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park for the Clarington 200.
Andrew Ranger led the field to the Green Flag but it would be Robin Buck who would lead the first three laps as with a new series sponsor, Pinty's, the twenty seven drivers in the field wanted to show that their series was a right choice to sponsor as the legendary road course was another exciting event as eight lead changes and no cautions led to exciting racing and a great show for the fans in attendance however for much of the day, pole sitter Andrew Ranger paced the field, leading 43 of the 51 laps to score a dominating win.

Race #2 - Leland Industries 300 Pres. by Dickies
It was a cloudy day in Innisfil, Ontario, Canada as the NASCAR Pinty's Series entered Round 2 of the 2016 season at the Sunset Speedway for the Leland Industries 300 Pres. by Dickies.
Alex Tagliani led the field to the Green Flag and quickly began to lap drivers by lap twenty as for only the second time in the series history drivers raced at the Sunset Speedway. Defending race winner Scott Steckly wasn't able to defend his win having decided to sit out the season citing a business decision, as only one caution would fly resulting in drivers choosing what pit strategy would lead them to victory lane. D.J. Kennington would dominate much of the day, leading 126 of the 300 laps but it would be another driver who would not only made headlines but also had an impressive day.
After the last round of pit stops, Matthew Scannell became the new race leader when Kennington had a slow stop. It took Kennington less then forty laps to retake the lead and appeared to be on his way to his record breaking 21st career win. But with less then ten laps to go Kennington ran into lap traffic allowing Matthew Scannell to catch up and with one lap to go Scannell passed Kennington in Turn 3 on the final lap and scored his second career win in a photo finish.

Gary Klutt won the pole, with a time of 13.886 seconds, beating Alex Labbe by 0.038 seconds.

Race #3 - CRS Express 300
It was a clear day in Vallee-Jonction, Quebec, Canada as the NASCAR Pinty's Series entered Round 3 of the 2016 season at the Autodrome Chaudiere for the CRS Express 300.
Gary Klutt led the field to the Green Flag for only the second time in his career and much like he had done when he won his first pole at CTMP over a year ago, Klutt would dominate the first half of the race before being passed by both Mark Dilley and Donald Theetge, who was tapped by then 2015 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series champion Scott Steckly to drive for him in this race. Donald Theetge would make his team owner proud, dominating once he took the lead as he would lead 145 of the event's 300 laps but the course of the race changed when the first caution flew.
With drivers making pit stops, Andrew Ranger decided to take only left side tires and would take command of the lead. With help of two other cautions during the last hundred laps, Ranger was able to keep all challengers at bay and would go on to score his second win in the last three races as well as breaking a tie with D.J. Kennington and Scott Steckly for most wins in the NASCAR Pinty's Series.
