Race #23 - Plattsburgh 50
The NASCAR North Tour Series made their 23rd stop of 1979 in Plattsburgh, New York at the Plattsburgh International Raceway, for the Plattsburgh 50.
Points leader Beaver Dragon led the field to the green and would quickly begin to show why he is the points leader as he began to build up a lead, as the short distance, only fifty laps, forced drivers to give everything they had every lap. Dragon would lead for the first twenty one laps before Keith Cavanagh, who had worked his way up from his sixth starting spot, would take the lead. Much like he had done at Catamount just fourteen days earlier, Cavanagh would lead the final twenty nine laps and scored his second win of 1979.

Andy Isbister won the pole, with a time of 19.255 seconds, beating Langis Caron by 0.067 seconds.

Race #24 - Super Molson 100
The NASCAR North Tour Series made their 24th stop of 1979 in Val Belair, Quebec, Canada at the Autodrome Val Belair, for the Super Molson 100.
Andy Isbister led the field to the Green Flag and would quickly began to build up a lead over the other fifteen drivers, but one driver was able to stay in the draft, Claude Leclerc, who would pass Isbister for the lead on the 35th lap. Once in the lead, Leclair was able to keep all of the other drivers behind him as well as he used lap traffic to slow them down, as he would go on uncontested for the remaining laps to score his first ever win.

Race #25 - New England 300
The NASCAR North Tour Series made their 25th stop of 1979 in Milton, Vermont at the Catamount Stadium, for the New England 300.
Don Brown led the field to the Green Flag as drivers raced for the eleventh and final time at the Catamount Stadium in 1979 as Brown's lead would last only twelve laps before Mike Barry would lead for much of the first half of the race as the fans in attendance were given a great final show at the track as battles for the lead and cations would fill much of the day. Championship contender Hector Leclair would lead the most laps before Stub Fadden took over the lead as him and Robbie Crouch would swap the lead late as Crouch took the lead for the final time with forty five laps to go and would hold off Fadden to score his second win of 1979.

Race #26 - Fall Final 100
The NASCAR North Tour Series made their 26th stop of 1979 in Stafford Springs, Connecticut at the Stafford Motor Speedway, for the Fall Final 100.
Tom Rosati led the field to the Green Flag but it was Steve Poulin who would get a run on the high side and would go on to lead the first lap at the track as Poulin would keep all challengers behind him as the series raced for the first time at the Stafford Springs as a cloudy race day and storms in the area meant that drivers were battling till halfway to see who would win in case the rains came. Second in points Hector Leclair would take the lead late and appeared on his way to victory but behind him was the points leader Beaver Dragon.
With both drivers battling all season long, Dragon waited until the last moment, taking the lead on the backstretch as rain came down on the track and would lead Lap 57 as officials decided to call the race, giving Dragon his seventh win of 1979 and with a 94 point lead heading into the season finale at Thunder Road, Dragon has clinched the 1979 NASCAR North Tour Championship.

Race #27 - Vermont Milk Bowl
The NASCAR North Tour Series made their 27th and final stop of 1979 in Barre, Vermont at the Thunder Road International Speedbowl, for the Vermont Milk Bowl.
Claude Leclerc led the field to the Green Flag but it was Dave Dion who would lead the first two laps before Stub Fadden took over and would easily drive to win the first segment of the race. Due to rules, the field was inverted for the second segment were the drivers who finished in the back led the field to the green in segment two as a late caution set up a dash to the Checkered, a battle won by Pete Silva. Tallying up the points it was Silva who scored the least amount of points over both segments, therefore he was declared the winner and his prize was he got to kiss a dairy cow instead of being given a trophy.
