Race #8 - Meisenzahl / Firecracker 100
The NASCAR Winston Modified Tour Series made their 8th stop of 1985 at the Spencer Speedway, in Williamson, New York, for the Meisenzahl / Firecracker 100.
Tom Forgione led a field of twenty six drivers to the green as for the first time in series history, drivers raced at the half mile Spencer Speedway. Forgione quickly would jump out to a commanding lead drivers struggled to stay on the track, causing three cautions to fly within the first half of the race as no one had anything for Forgione and it appeared he was on his way to a win, but a late race caution with less then five laps to go set up the first ever Green, White, Checkered in series history.
Getting a great jump on the outside, Richie Evans would make the pass for the lead on the Backstretch and would hold off a hard charging Forgione to pick up his third win of the season, and gaining nearly eighty points on points leading Mike McLaughlin.

Race #9 - Winston 125
The NASCAR Winston Modified Tour Series made their 9th stop of 1985 at the Riverhead Raceway, in Riverhead, New York, for the Winston 125.
Tom Baldwin led a field of twenty four drivers to the green as for the first time in series history, drivers raced at the quarter mile Riverhead Raceway. Fred Harbach would use a strong run on the outside to lead the first lap before Baldwin would retake it back a lap later and would hold the lead until Jimmy Spencer took it on the 9th lap. Spencer would hold the lead as four cautions would fly within the first ninety laps as Spencer kept all challengers even when Spencer was caught up in the fifth and final caution on Lap 93.
Spencer would receive minor cosmetic damage to his car and would keep the race lead for the remaining laps to score his first career NASCAR Winston Modified Tour Series win.

The NASCAR Winston Modified Tour Series made their 10th stop of 1985 at the Twin State Speedway, in Claremont, New Hampshire, for the Whitcomb / Granite State 85.
Dave Rezendes led a field of twenty two drivers to the green but it would be points leader Mike McLaughlin who would lead the first nine laps before Richie Evans would take the lead, and much like he had done at nearly every race he has led in 1985, once in the lead Evans was unstoppable as only one other caution would come out, resulting in a long green flag run, allowing for Evans to lap the entire field on his way to his fourth win of 1985.

A sellout crowd was on hand at the Stafford Motor Speedway as Richie Evans led a field of twenty four drivers to the green as the racing action was intense from second on back but just like the previous event at this track, Evans was untouchable and would lead every single lap and scored his fifth win of 1985.

Race #12 - Outside Pole Qualifier
The NASCAR Winston Modified Tour Series made their 12th stop of 1985 at the Thompson Speedway, in Thompson, Connecticut, for the Outside Pole Qualifier.
Mike McLaughlin led a field of 24 drivers to the green flag as the NASCAR Winston Modified Tour Series made their second ever start at the Thomston Speedway but it would be Jimmy Spencer who would lead the first seven laps before McLaughlin took the lead back as the race would be slowed by eight cautions, preventing anyone from really challenging McLaughlin for the lead as a late race caution forced officials to extend the race to a Green, White, Checkered and when the green came back out, Richie Evans, the points leader, got a great run on the outside and would pull away and scored his sixth win of 1985.

The NASCAR Winston Modified Tour Series made their 13th stop of 1985 at the New Egypt Speedway, in New Egypt, New Jersey, for the Cam 2 Racing Fuels 150.
Tom Baldwin led a field of twenty two drivers to the green as for the third time in series history drivers raced at the quarter mile track in New Jersey as Baldwin's lead would last only five laps before points leader Richie Evans took over. Having won the last three races in a row, Evans was determined to make sure the streak continued, lapping the entire field on his way to scoring his seventh win of the season and fourth in a row.

Race #14 - Genesee Twin 50s - Race 1
The NASCAR Winston Modified Tour Series made their 14th stop of 1985 at the Holland International Speedway, in Holland, New York, for the Genesee Twin 50s - Race 1.
George Kent led a field of twenty drivers to the green as the first of two events was going to be held at the track on the same day, Kent began to pull away from everyone else, while at the same time further in the back, points leader Richie Evans worked his way up through the field and on Lap 30, Evans took the lead and much like he had done the previous four races, once in the lead Evans was untouchable, scoring his fifth win in a row and eighth in 1985.

Race #15 - Genesee Twin 50s - Race 2
The NASCAR Winston Modified Tour Series made their 15th stop of 1985 at the Holland International Speedway, in Holland, New York, for the Genesee Twin 50s - Race 2.
Doug Heveron led the field to the Green Flag as he would quickly jump out to a two second lead as short distance and a caution free race meant drivers had a sprint to the win to try and get the best finish possibly as Jeff Fuller worked his way up from fifth spot and took the lead on Lap 12. Once in the lead, Fuller pulled away from Heveron as he used lap traffic to build up a five second lead and quickly scored his first career win.
